Spring/Summer 2025 Edition
Congrats Seniors!
Our Seniors had an excellent College Decision season with 100% 4 year college acceptances. Gotham Scholars prides itself in working closely with each senior throughout the college application process. We work together to support them in identifying schools that will feel like home, are dedicated to equity, and will be a place where they can see themselves thrive. Here's a look at our college acceptances for these seniors and the many before them...

A look Into Student Life
Our scholars engage in plenty of other enrichment programs outside of the classroom, gaining hands-on experience and prepping for life in college.
Our first Scholar's Graduate!Congrats to Nateesha Campbell

Congratulations to our very first scholar, Nateesha Campbell. Former valedictorian of Gotham Professional Arts Academy and now graduate of Stonybrook University. Nateesha received her BA in Studio Art and continues to support scholars in the classroom as a TA and as a program coordinator intern.

We are so proud of how far she has come and can't wait to see how she makes an impact in the world of art.
Students Accepted to Summer Pre-College & Leadership Programs!
This summer we have students accepted into many extracurricular programs! Two of our scholars will be attending the prestigious, Smith College for 2 weeks. Scholars are attending leadership programs in STEM, such as the Boston Leadership Institute and service leadership programs through Summer Search.

Our newest cohort will attend their first debate camp with Brooklyn Debate League.

Scholar Spotlight: Otis

Our spring semester spotlights, Otis Cramer, a wonderful student that start in our program the summer of 9th grade and has grown tremendously throughout. His contributions to the classroom will be missed as he sets off to Sarah Lawrence College to pursue the next chapter of his academic journey.

Otis has served as student body president, participated in his schools first ever theater production, brought student tutoring and afterschool support to his school and is a bright light in our classroom.
