Mentorship
Providing Academic Guidance & Support from 10th through College
MENTORSHIP AT SCHOLARS
At the core of our Mentorship Program is the belief that addressing stress and time management is essential for academic success and overall well-being. Our mentors are well-versed in the art of stress management and offer their expertise to help students navigate the challenges they face. Through weekly one-on-one sessions, our mentors provide students with a safe and confidential space to express their concerns, share their thoughts, and seek guidance on managing stress effectively.
Mentors serve as the backbone of our organization, and their mentorship guides scholars through high school and college. They serve as a consistent source of support for scholars who look forward to their future, even during times when scholars find their journey challenging.
BECOME A MENTOR
Professional volunteer mentors meet weekly with Scholars to ensure they have someone supporting them from high school through college.
Weekly Meetings
Our Scholars and professional mentors attend weekly mentor meetings (zoom or in person). Mentors meet with scholars to discuss time/stress management tips and read/discuss current events.
Discuss & Discover
Scholars work with mentors to explore and apply extracurricular activities from 10th through 12th grade.
